Purpose: Vocal cord palsy (VCP) is a clinically important condition with diverse aetiologies and a variable presentation that ranges from subtle dysphonia to life-threatening airway obstruction. The variable presentation, diverse aetiologies and potential complications make VCP an important focus of otolaryngology practice, necessitating careful evaluation, diagnosis and management of patient in a tertiary care system.
