Abstract

Introduction- In India, bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of vaginitis in women of reproductive age. In bacterial vaginosis, anaerobes and Gardnerella vaginalis replace  Lactobacillus, the most frequent species in a healthy, normal vaginal flora.
