Abstract

Background: Adiponectin levels are decreased in patients with metabolic syndrome (MetS). 
Thus, adiponectin can be a useful indicator for early diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. There 
are few studies from India using adiponectin as a marker of MetS. 
Objective: To study the correlation of adiponectin with other markers of metabolic syndrome.
