Background: DHS (dynamic hip screw) has been productive for fixation of stable intertrochanteric
fractures. However, various complications have been linked with DHS use in intertrochanteric fractures.
Aim: The present study aimed to comparatively assess the modified PFLCP (proximal femoral plate
locking compression plate) with a dynamic hip screw system concerning radiological and functional
outcomes in Indian subjects with intertrochanteric fractures.
