Abstract

One of India's most useful traditional medicinal plants is Nyctanthes arbor-tristis Linn. It is 
widespread throughout the sub-Himalayan region and Godavari. Because each component of the plant 
has some medicinal value, it can be used for commercial purposes. It is now regarded as a valuable 
source for a number of one-of-a-kind products used in the creation of medical treatments for a variety 
of diseases and industrial products. The present review emphasizes the necessity of further 
investigating the information that is available and includes comprehensive information on the 
chemical constituents, biological activities of important compounds, pharmacological actions, 
medicinal applications, and micro propagation of Night jasmine.
