STUDY OF ENTEROBACTERIACEAE GROUP OF ORGANISMS AND THEIR ANTIBIOTIC SUSEPTIBILITY PATTERN IN PATIENTS ATTENDING TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL

Abstract

The emergence and spread of resistance in Enterobacteriaceae are complicating the treatment 
of serious nosocomial infections and threatening to create species resistant to all currently 
available agents. They are inhabitants of normal intestinal flora and are among the most 
common human pathogens, causing multiple infections . They are the source of communityand hospital-acquired infections.
