Abstract

Excessive vaginal discharge, or leucorrhoea, is a common occurrence in females during the reproductive age range of 15 to 45 years. It can be seen in physiological states such as ovulation, pregnancy, and the premenstrual period. One to fourteen percent of women in the reproductive age group experience 
pathological vaginal discharge, which accounts for five to ten million outpatient department visits 
annually worldwide
