Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of fentanyl nasal pack in managing
post-operative pain following endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS).
Methods: A randomized controlled trial was conducted on 100 patients undergoing ESS, with
50 patients receiving fentanyl nasal pack and 50 patients receiving standard post-operative
care. Pain scores were assessed using a standardized pain scale at regular intervals postsurgery, including 1, 2, 4, 6, and 24 hours. Rescue analgesic requirements and adverse events
were recorded throughout the study period.
