Abstract

With great pleasure we present the 3rd 2013 issue of the Journal of Cardiovascular Disease Research (JCDR). JCDR is dedicated to provide readers around the world with high quality peer-reviewed articles on a wide variety of issues related to cardiovascular disease.
JCDR has completely transitioned to the Elsevier online submission and peer review system. We continue to strive to make JCDR one of
the most influential scientific journals in cardiovascular disease research.
