Abstract

Valvular Injury post Radiotherapy is the result of acute asceptic inflammation and myocardial damage seen less than 6 months after radiation and can remain as chronic cardiovascular complication. Associated pericarditis can induce ST Segment changes in ECG  Bradycardia has correlation with Global hypokinesia of left ventricle while Ejection fraction may remain unaffected. Here we have reviewed relevant literature from Pub Med ,Google Scholar and Scopus libraries for study of changes in heart post radiotherapy of Thoracic Malignancies.
