Keywords:
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia, mature cystic teratoma, secondary AIHA, intratumoral antibody productionAbstract
Autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) is a condition in which the immune system produces antibodies that attack red blood cells, leading to their destruction and a reduced lifespan. AIHA stands out as one of the leading types of acquired hemolytic diseases with an incidence of approximately 1.8 per 100,000 person-years , and those are further subdivided into primary and secondary AIHA. Secondary AIHA frequently occurs in association with hematological cancers in 50% of cases, infections in about 33%, and collagen vascular diseases in around 17%
