Prediabetes broadly refers to an intermediate stage between completely normal glucose levels and the clinical entity of Type 2 diabetes. Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, and aging are associated with high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) as well as other clinical conditions
