Abstract

Introduction: Cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy (CAN) is an “impairment of cardiovascular autonomic control in patients with established Systemic hypertension after excluding other causes. Autonomic nerve fibers innervate the heart and blood vessels, in turn 
causing abnormalities in heart rate and vascular dynamics. It is known to affect multipleorgan systems and is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with Systemic hypertension
