Abstract

Stroke is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with significant contributions from metabolic abnormalities such as dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus (DM). Stressinduced hyperglycemia in acute stroke is a common yet underdiagnosed condition that may reflect undiagnosed DM or impaired glucose metabolism. Dyslipidemia, characterized by abnormal lipid profiles, is also a major risk factor for stroke. This study aims to assess the prevalence of hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia among acute stroke patients in India
