Background: Dementia is a critical public health concern, particularly early-onset dementia
(EOD), which affects individuals before the age of 65. The etiology, prevalence, and
characteristics of EOD vary geographically and demographically, making it essential to
investigate these aspects within specific populations. Methods: This cross-sectional analysis
was conducted on a sample of 200 individuals from an urban population, identified through a
multistage stratified sampling technique. Data were collected through direct interviews,
medical examinations, and review of medical records.
