Abstract

Emotional Intelligence has become an area of significant interest in educational 
psychology, highlighting its role in academic success and personal development. This 
study investigates the relationship between Emotional Intelligence Scale scores and 
educational outcomes among college students. Using a sample of 171 medical students 
from various years, the research explores how Emotional Intelligence influences 
academic performance, student engagement, and overall well-being. The results suggest 
that students are having Emotional Intelligence Scale score is 44.84%. a positive 
correlation between high Emotional Intelligence scores and superior educational 
outcomes, emphasizing the importance of developing Emotional Intelligence skills in 
higher education
