Abstract

The present study is a hospital based prospective study conducted in the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. A total of 100 women diagnosed with PCOS with Vitamin D deficiency fulfilling the inclusion criteria were included in to the study and are sub divided in to two groups A & B with 50 women in each group. Group A: Women were given treatment with Metformin & Calcium 1000mg daily 
along with Vitamin D3 60K IU weekly for 6weeks followed by monthly for 4 months. Group B: Women were given treatment with Metformin 1000mg daily only
