Abstract

Background: Fatty liver disease and cirrhosis are common hepatic conditions often
associated with metabolic syndrome. Early detection of hepatic steatosis and fibrosis
is crucial to prevent disease progression. Ultrasound elastography offers a non
invasive method to assess liver stiffness and steatosis severity.
