Introduction: Dengue is the most common insect-transmitted viral disease in the world having Adesaegypti mosquito as their principal vector.Initial dengue infection may be asymptomatic with nonspecific febrile illness. While most patients recover following a self-limiting non-severe clinical course, a small proportion progress to severe disease characterized by plasma leakage with or without dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF).
