Background: Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM), specifically the tubotympanic type,
primarily causes conductive hearing loss. However, the potential for sensorineural hearing loss
(SNHL) exists due to toxin-induced cochlear damage. This study aimed to investigate the
relationship between SNHL and tubotympanic CSOM.
