Abstract

Background: The extra-hepatic biliary system along with the gallbladder usually counts as operative treatment in comparison to other intra-abdominal viscera after only the vermiform appendix. With the introduction of laparoscopic cholecystectomy, it has become vital to have adequate knowledge concerning the cystic artery and its variations. However, the existing literature data is scarce concerning the vision field during laparoscopic surgeries which can lead to various complications.
