Background: Hypertension, a significant risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, affects a large portion of the middle-aged population globally. Non-pharmacological interventions, such as yoga and its controlled breathing technique known as Pranayama, have shown promise in modulating blood pressure and improving cardiovascular health. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of Pranayama on blood pressure regulation in individuals aged 40 to 60 years over a six-month intervention period.
