Abstract

Background: The aim of the study is to study the effect & safety of apremilast alone versus methotrexate alone versus (combination therapy) apremilast plus methotrexate in patients of psoriasis vulgaris. This study was a prospective randomized, open labeled, comparative study Methods: The primary end point was the assessment of clinical response in term of the percentage of patients achieving PASI 75 at 12 weeks after treatment initiation. Patients of both genders in the age group of 18-65 year with moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis attending the dermatology outpatient department (OPD) in our hospital were screened according to their eligibility criteria in the study.
