Introduction: Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) constitute a major global health crisis, responsible for 74% of worldwide deaths, with a disproportionate burden in low- and middleincome countries like India. Undiagnosed NCDs, such as diabetes and hypertension, significantly impact health and quality of life. This study aims to screen orthopedic outpatients in an Indian tertiary hospital for unidentified systemic hypertension and diabetes mellitus, facilitating early intervention and improving patient outcomes.
