Abstract

Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media (CSOM), which manifests as recurrent ear discharge or otorrhea through a rupture/perforated tympanic membrane for intervals ranging from six weeks to three months despite medical therapy, is caused by chronic inflammation of the middle ear cleft.
