.Abstract
The radial clearance of a rolling bearing causes its radial stiffness to exhibit time-varying characteristics, which may result in a measurable vibration. Inadequate lubrication may induce vibration, which in turn may produce tiny flaws on the raceway of the rolling bearing. In this research, we build a dynamic model of the rolling bearing rotor system that accounts for the radial clearance and outer raceway defect. Rolling bearings' time-dependent stiffness is modelled using a substitution of 8th-order Fourier series
