Abstract

Vascular diseases of the retina are conditions that affect the retina’s blood vessels; light-sensitive tissue at the
back of the eye. If left untreated, these disorders may cause severe impairment of eyesight or even total
blindness. Diabetic retinopathy (DR), retinal vein occlusion (RVO), retinal artery occlusion (RAO), macular
degeneration, & hypertensive retinopathy are the most prevalent vascular disorders of the retina. Medication,
laser surgery, or other techniques to reduce swelling, halt bleeding, or prevent additional damage to the retina
are only some of the treatment options available. To avoid irreversible vision loss, it is essential to have
regular eye examinations so that these disorders may be detected & treated early. This review paper
highlights the molecular pathogenesis along with regular treatment methods of various Retina Vascular
diseases (RVDs) briefly. per
