Abstract

Uterine myomas, the most common benign growths affecting the female reproductive system, occur in 20-40% of women, with an incidence in pregnancy estimated at 0.1 to 3.9%. This lower incidence is linked to infertility and lower pregnancy and implantation rates after in vitro fertilization treatment. Typically, uterine myomas are asymptomatic during pregnancy, but complications likeĀ
pedunculated fibroid torsion can cause acute abdominal pain
