Abstract
Background: The transverse abdominis plane block is commonly used for providing postoperative analgesia in lower abdominal surgeries and can be effectively used for providing analgesia in lower segment caesarean section. Present study was aimed to compare ultrasound guided transverse abdominis plane block with 0.25% bupivacaine and 0.2% ropivacaine for postoperative analgesia following caesarean section.
