    Abstract

Most hospital visits worldwide are caused by urinary tract infections (UTIs), which are one of the primary causes of morbidity and comorbidity in patients with underlying illnesses. As Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) emerges in the community and infections with this pathogen become a common issue among UTI patients, the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains is a serious problem and the biggest challenge in public health care.
