Abstract
Venereal diseases are sexually transmitted diseases caused due to STI. There are many types of STDs. Some STDs, like syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, are spread mainly by sexual contact. The adolescent period is between the age group of 10-15 years. During the teenage period, which is between 13-19 years of age group, is the stage of psychosocial development. Now a days much more young people have become sexually active in their mid-teens making them vulnerable to contracting the STDs. The teenagers especially in the urban areas have favourable attitude towards premarital and extramarital sex
