Abstract
Epistaxis is a common problem in the emergency department (ED). There are different kinds of treatment for epistaxis. We included those patients whose bleeding that persists after simple first aid measures, followed by standardised topical vasoconstrictor therapy will be randomised to receive either TXA or ANP .This study intended to evaluate the topical use of injectable form of tranexamic acid vs anterior nasal packing with Vaseline ribbon gauge.
