Abstract
In India, the prevalence of coronary artery disease is rising. Therefore, we require a technique to evaluate the acute coronary syndrome's severity and prognosis. It is already known that inflammation and plaque rupture play a part in acute coronary syndrome. The levels of platelet lymphocyte ratio and gross random blood glucose rise in direct proportion to the degree of inflammation. In patients with acute coronary syndrome, this study aims to evaluate the relationship between acute phase hyperglycemia and the platelet-lymphocyte ratio as a predictor of in-hospital death.
