Abstract
Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women worldwide and a leading cause of cancer-related deaths in developing countries. Persistent infection of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is a significant casual agent for cervical cancer development. High-risk HPV types are associated with precancerous cervical lesions and invasive cervical cancers, while low-risk HPV types are associated with low-risk cervical lesions.
