Abstract

The Profession of Pharmacy is practiced from just compounding and dispensing drugs to provide patient care. The pharmaceutical industry focused primarily on compounding in the previous century. The careful administration of medication with the goal of attaining a specific result that enhances patient quality of life is known as pharmaceutical care. It was also found that pharmacists are involved in other healthcare activities along with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of life. These additional services include Adverse Drug Reporting, monitoring patient’s progress and identify drug related problems.
