Abstract

Introduction: Traumatic dislocation of shoulder leadsto labral detachment from the glenoid and also the capsule and periosteum from anterior surface of the neck of scapula, a so-called Bankart lesion. Unless a surgical procedure interruptsthe cycle of recurrence, the patient will likely continue to have dislocation or limitation of his activities for fear of dislocation. We report a study and results on 25 patients treated with Bankart's repair.
