Abstract
Background: Vitiligo is characterized by a disappearance of epidermal and/or follicular melanocytes which result in pale white patches on skin. It is an autoimmune disease and can develop at any age and in any gender. People affected by vitiligo can experience low selfesteem and concern about their appearance, leading to disturbed mental state and thereby affecting the quality of life
