    Bleeding nasal masses: Our experience at the tertiary health center

    Abstract

    Sino nasal angiomatous polyps is a rare subtype of the sino nasal polyps also known as angiomatous nasal polyps (ANP’S) have been rarely reported in the literature and are characterized by extensive vascular proliferation and ectasia. Pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular lesion with bleeding tendency mostly occurring due to trauma and hormonal influence. Methods: This is prospective study of patients presenting to ENT OPD in Kamineni institute of medical sciences, Narketpally with nasal obstruction and bleeding through nose from January 2021-August 2022. Results: Of all the 4 patients taken for study 2 had pyogenic granuloma and other 2 had angiomatous polyp. Conclusion: Bleeding nasal masses which are malignant and nonmalignant should be differentiated as the line of management for both the lesions are different
