    Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality in women, with a rising incidence globally. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NACT) is a standard treatment approach for operable advanced loco-regional breast cancer, aiming to achieve tumor shrinkage, downstaging, and improved surgical outcomes. GATA3 expression has been identified as a significant marker for tumor differentiation, estrogen receptor status, and clinical outcomes in breast cancer. Objectives: To investigate the expression of GATA3 in post-NACT breast carcinoma cases and its utility in confirming histopathological diagnosis of partial and complete response, thereby guiding treatment strategies and predicting patient outcomes.
