Abstract
The goal of the current study was to assess and refine the emulgel made from Hibiscus RosaSinensis extract. Three different solvents were used to isolate the plant extract. Different gelling agents, including Carbopol 934, Carbopol 940, and HPMC, were used to make the formulation. To determine if the medication content was incorporated into the gelling agent and released, various formulation parameters were measured and evaluated. PH, spreadability, viscosity, drug content, and in vitro drug release were among the metrics. Through the use of these parameters, all formulations evaluate it. The outcome showed that the Carbopol 934 formulation did indeed have a considerable drug release, spreadability, and viscosity. The compositions are effective and comparable to Carbopol 934.
