Abstract
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most frequently isolated pathogens in patients with healthcare-associated infections.Carbapenems are widely used in the treatment of infections with MDR P. aeruginosa. Carbapenemase-producing P. aeruginosa strains are resistant to almost all β-lactams and the rising prevalence of MDR P. aeruginosa have become a major concern of public health practitioners.
