Abstract
Background: Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) is an important cause of stroke in young. There is paucity of literature on the long-term sequelae of CVST. Methods: This hospital-based ambispective study included adult patients with radiologically confirmed CVST diagnosed between 2014 and 2020 with at least one year of follow up. We documented neurological disability at discharge and at follow-up using modified Rankin score (mRS), daily activity using Barthel index, cognitive deficits using Montreal Cognitive Assessment score (MOCA), the behavioral outcome with Hamilton depression rating scale (HDRS). Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed for factors presumed to be associated with outcomes.
