Abstract
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is the most frequent endocrinopathy in women of reproductive age, characterized by hyperandrogenism and chronic oligo/ anovulation. PCOS is a complex illness that is impacted and complicated by a variety of genetic and environmental factors. The disruption of reproductive hormones such as LH, FSH, oestrogen, and testosterone disrupts the normal menstrual cycle and can result in oligomenorrhoea and amenorrhea-like abnormalities.
