Abstract
Background: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a common cause of heart failure and is characterized by ventricular dilation and impaired systolic function. Accurate diagnosis and assessment of DCM are crucial for guiding therapeutic decisions. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) has emerged as a valuable tool in the evaluation of DCM due to its ability to provide detailed information about cardiac structure and function.
