Abstract
Introduction: Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is characterized by pain and dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and the masticatory apparatus. Approximately, 35% of individuals in the whole world suffer from temporomandibular disorder within their lifetime, thereby making it one of the most common problem affecting individuals worldwide.
