Abstract
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a persistent, advancing, widespread inflammatory illness that affects the whole body. It is estimated to affect between 0.4% and 1.1% of the world's population. Aim: To determine the effectiveness of metformin in treating rheumatoid arthritis. Material and Methods: This research was conducted on 100 Indian patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using a prospective, randomised, single-blinded controlled design.
