    Abstract

    Background: Hanging is a commonly used method for suicide worldwide. Hanging is a form of strangulation in which the body is suspended through the neck and weight of the body act as constricting force. Despite of high mortality and morbidity associated with hanging survival is possible with effective resuscitation and management.
